Philip Hubbard Military Commission
註釋Philip Hubbard's commission as captain of a company in the 30th Regiment, commanded by Colonel Scamman, for the defense of American Liberty. Signed by John Hancock, President of the Continental Congress, and Charles Thompson, Secretary for the Continental Congress and dated 1 July 1775. Capt. Hubbard was from South Berwick, Me., and commanded a company that included six of his sons. Some evidence suggests he was at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
