註釋Family history of the Napier family of Kilmahew, Scotland, and later in England and the United States. Dr. Patrick Napier (ca. 1634-1669) was the son of Charles I's barber and member of the Scots Army, Patrick Napier. He came to America and settled in York County, Virginia in the 1650's. Sometime before November 10, 1658 he married Elizabeth, daughter of Robert and Frances Booth of York County. An older brother of Patrick, Valentine Napier, was also a physician, and he also came to Virginia with his family.
