註釋John Ashmead (1651-1688), a Quaker, married Mary Currier in 1677, and in 1682 they immigrated from England to Philadelphia (later Mont- gomery) County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere. Some descendants became Mormons, living in Utah, Idaho and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in England to ca. 1530.
