Anna and Chen
註釋The name of the horse in this book comes from the Old Testament. I came across the name while flipping through the pages of my Bible during church. I was a young teen at the time and I was struck by the name aChenaniah, a a chief musician in First Chronicles. I decided it was a good name for my new horse but I shortened it to aChen.a (The acha is pronounced like asha as in aship.a) I worked during the summer of my sixteenth year to raise enough money to buy Chen from my mother. I had to have him because I had fallen in love with him the moment I first saw him. He was my dream horse, my Earthly Pegasus. Through the years, whenever I moved I took him with me. Years later, when I had my daughter, Anna, she and Chen formed a very special bond. This little book is their story.
