A Report of the Review of Health Authorities Best Practices
註釋Presents the report of a review conducted to develop an appreciation of what constitutes best practices today in Alberta health authorities in terms of their governance, leadership, management, and administration. It profiles practices identified as solid, emerging, or best practices by the health authorities, and lists the characteristics of best practices, some effectiveness criteria for best practices, and examples of best practices as identified by health authorities during the review's on-site consultations. The examples are described according to the effectiveness criteria that the best practice addresses, including board governance and leadership, management practices, program evaluation, strategic planning and business plan development, financial and information management, standards and performance measurement, medical staff linkages, and communications.
