The Empty Shotgun is true-to-form Western fiction set in the late 1800s. It’s the story of a wild adventure with a young man named Riley Bennett and his journey to rescue his younger sister who has been abducted by a gang of murderous outlaws and to avenge the killing of his father and his lifelong friend. The eight-mile ride back to the cabin seemed to take forever. Riley realized that the men who had killed his father had to be the same men who had been at the cabin earlier. He hesitated at the door for a moment and then stepped inside. The main room of the cabin was empty and there had obviously been a struggle inside. He quickly searched the rest of the house. Nothing...Claudia was gone!
