Can the Sioux Falls Fire Department Provide an Efficient ALS Delivery System for the Community?.
註釋On June 4, 1991, Fitch & Associates, Inc. submitted its project report for a study of "City/County Emergency Medical Services" to the City of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County County, South Dakota. The objectives of that study were to: Review and report on the existing emergency medical service system in the City and County. Evaluate and provide recommendations regarding the effectiveness of the EMS system. Examine the system's stability-structural, financial, and operational-to develop proposed actions to enhance its long term viability. Develop and recommend options for the structure of the EMS system. In that report, three workable options for anchor provider services within the Minnehaha EMS System, were presented. One of those options was for Public Service EMS Provider, through the Sioux Falls Fire Department. The study listed eight disadvantages to such a system.
