Auxiliary Duct Airflow Determination in Lingan Phalen Using SF6
註釋The difference in the airflow measurements made in the duct usingthe pitot tube and in the roadway using sulphur hexafluoride was4.2%. Given the rough field conditions in the test tunnel thisagreement is excellent. It was shown that the pitot tube canmeasure the duct airflow to better than plus or minus 5% evenwhen the velocity profile of the duct is irregular. It was alsoshown that releasing sulphur hexafluoride into a high velocityairstream in a duct produced good mixing in the 70 m lengthbefore it was discharged.
