註釋James Donald Richards was born 18 November 1928 in Michigan Township, Clinton County, Michigan. His parents were Cyrus Joseph Richards (1899-1963) and June Della Cox (1897-1977). He married Delores Barbee, daughter of Paul Stanley Barbee and Della Lorene Alexander, 24 October 1948 and they had three daughters. Ancestors and relatives lived mainly in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and New York.
