The Construction Materials Laboratory Workbook is a guide to the task of the students in the construction materials laboratory. It organizes the report for  the completed laboratory work of the student.  

This manual is in its initial 2024 edition. It is expected to take certain improvement from this as   it is made to keep up with the development in the undergraduate pursuit to address the needs in the academic and construction sector as well as in various areas involved in the civil engineering practice. It is made to enable the student to put together in a systematic way,  one’s pieces of output whether after an organized  experiment, a discovery,  or an action research under a  relevant subject matter of interest on the construction materials and test in civil engineering.  It contained  certain standards  of which the laboratory procedure may be developed.

It is assumed or expected that the user of this text got sufficient knowledge or background information of the subject matter with its related aspect that is the focus or within the key terms of the laboratory work.  Spaces on the initial pages of each laboratory task are reserved for the student to add more about the background information inclusive of  relevant content of the  cited literature or related work.
