註釋
A simultaneous regression analysis was conducted to examine this relationship in an all-female, mixed non-clinical, sub-clinical, and clinical sample. Three subscales from the Eating Disorder Inventory-2---Drive for Thinness, Bulimia, and Body Dissatisfaction---as well as scales measuring body checking and intolerance of uncertainty related to weight, shape, and food, served as dependent variables. Scores from an Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale and an Intolerance of Uncertainty Subscale were entered as predictor variables into separate analyses after controlling for associated anxiety and depressive pathology.
