註釋This volume is a collection of essays on different subjects written by the author. The initial section of three essays includes writings on global warming, the understanding of the scientific method and what pseudoscience is, and a discussion of hydrogen as a potential power source. The second section includes a discussion of the science underlying the problem of obesity and two previously published reviews of two important hormonal systems. The third essay of this section is a personal view of evolution and man's place in nature. The final section of the book deals with various thoughts on government. An essay on the changing interpretation of our Constitution since its creation in 1787, errors since the Second World War of our intelligence community, and a critique over our invasion of Iraq and its sequel. The final chapter is from a book in preparation on the Radicals Behind the American Revolution. This initial chapter describes the development and uniqueness of the American Colonies before the Revolution.It is hoped that the reader will find at least some of the writing interesting and educational.
