Journals of John D. Lee
註釋Contains entries from Lee's stay at Winter Quarters, Neb. in 1846-47, including experiences of the Mormon Battalion, and his polygamous marriages and views on polygamy. The 1859 diary deals with the period when Lee went into hiding after accusations about his involvement in the Mountain Meadows Massacre and recounts events in southern Utah related to the Massacre. A third section includes letters to Lee's daughter Amorah, dating from his imprisonment prior to his execution.
