Robert L. Darcy Papers
註釋The Robert L. Darcy papers document psychological warfare training and the activities of the 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group during the Korean War. The bulk of the papers consist of psywar training materials, papers from the 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group, and printed materials. The psywar training materials include the programs of instruction, schedules and topic summaries from the Army General School's Psychological Warfare Officer Course, and from the 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group's unit training program for the Far East Area. A notebook from the Army General School's Psychological Warfare Officer Course is also included. The 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group materials includes official documents such as tables of distribution, memorandums, and reports, as well as radio scripts and leaflets in Chinese and Korean with English translations, news clippings, and newsletters. Printed materials in the collection include training materials from the Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia and publications on psychological warfare, Korea, China, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), and communism. The collection also contains a folder of Darcy's personnel documents, and Darcy's Korean War veterans survey questionnaire completed on 30 January 1997 in which he describes his interest in psychological warfare, the good management in his office, and relations with the locals in Japan and Korea.
