註釋
In the city of Kashan in the center of Iran lived a rich carpet merchant named Ahmed who weaved elegant carpets. He was a master weaver of carpets. Ahmed had a beautiful daughter named Roya. She was not only mastered in the art of carpets weaving from her father, she invented her own design with the greatest curvature and visibility with a single medallion in the center and floral motifs of the city of Kashan gardens. As years went by, she rejected many young men wanting to marry her. She was happy to teach and design new carpets. Slowly she began to lose weight and her color changed. She looked pale and tired often. She slept more and stayed in bed. She became weak. Her father became concern and called one physician after another. Roya did not improve. One day her father went to a tea house and sitting alone and wondering what he should do. In the tea house, the wandering Sufi said: "Attach to nothing, grasp to nothing, and cling to nothing. Let things come as they may. All things are impermanent. Let things take their natural course. To die as it will happen to all beings and let go of the ground that you stand is a blessing if you live a mindful life. "Next day, Ahmad invited all the physicians who cared for his daughter and wandering Sufi. In his mind he thought to have physicians to consult with the wandering Sufi and come up with a plan to heal his daughter. All physicians gathered around the bed of Roya when the wandering Sufi arrived at her bed side. This Sufi tale based on Rumi's writing. The tale ends with unexpected twist of power speech that delights lover of Sufi tales. The Sufi tales are published in English and Persian.
