Los judíos españoles
註釋Presents, in popular fashion, a history of the Jews in Spain from ancient times until the expulsion, and discusses the fate of the Sephardic diaspora. Pp. 68-90 describe the pogrom of 1391, the conflicts which arose following the mass conversions, the establishment of the Inquisition, and the expulsion of 1492. States that the Catholic Kings established the Inquisition and carried out the expulsion to maintain order, uniformity, and obedience to the Church and the state. Pp. 163-172 reflect on antisemitism in general and contain a plea for nations to avoid assumptions of their own superiority.
