註釋In the more recent past, Australia's migrants were of mostly European origin - German, Eastern European, Greek and Italian born individuals whose experiences have been documented in historical, biographical and autobiographical writing. The stories of more recent migrants from the Asia-Pacific region are, by and large, still to be told. This anthology of edited interviews of women from the Asia-Pacific region now living in Australia seeks to restore the balance, providing lively and moving personal accounts of the joys and heartaches involved in coming to live a 'bicultural' existence.
