Richard Gavin Paul D'Rozario is an Anglo-Indian, born in Calcutta. He came to the UK as a child. He grew up in London and graduated from Hertford College, Oxford. For thirty-six years, he taught English in comprehensive schools, leading five English departments. Having taught other people's poetry for so long, he is now writing his own. He is married with two children and lives in Somerset.
