Love is a Double-Edged Sword is a poetic book about relationships. In this book, the author teaches about the principle of love. Love is the knowledge one has of oneself and one's partner because you cannot love what you don't know. Therefore, love is a choice and not just a feeling, as feelings can change over time. It is from this knowledge that one decides to be in a relationship. Courting, dating, phone calls, text messages, and emails are like seeds that are planted in one's heart. The smiles and laughter are signs that the seed has been watered and will bear fruit. This is the first phase of getting to know someone or building a relationship. When enough knowledge has been gathered, if the person is giving you false information about themselves through lies and deceptions, then you will soon experience a dying love and separation.
A DYING LOVE.
Most of us have a secret place deep within our hearts and souls. It's a place where we go to sort things out when feelings of love become overwhelmed with pain. This place is filled with thoughts of imagination, memories, and reflections of moments spent together. It's a place of isolation and loneliness where we bury our feelings or try to erase the thoughts of those we truly love. This hidden place is the secret darkness of the heart and soul, where no one knows the struggles we face, except for ourselves. I've been dragged to this hidden place by a love that I thought was true. Now, I lay wounded in the heart of this woman, helplessly separated from her as she watched my love slowly die.
