註釋Michael Meyer (ca. 1672-1733) was born in Palatine Germany. He and his wife Anna had five children, one of whom, Johannes Hans Meyer (ca. 1699-1766), emigrated to America, settling in Pennsylvania. Some descendants of other children of Michael and Anna also moved to Pennsylvania, where many descendants still live. Spelling of the surname often varies greatly.
