From the Gates of Death
註釋This book is a cancer survivor's harrowing, lengthy battle to survive multiple cancers after being misdiagnosed in his small hometown. It is meant to give hope and courage to those going through painful trials in life, ones that seem too difficult to beat. From the book, "There was a tumor marker called beta hcg that showed the amount of cancer in my body. A male's body is supposed to have zero beta hcg, but my count was over 800,000. One nurse (at MD Anderson) told me she had seen only one other patient with a level higher than mine. The picture was starting to become clear about what I was up against."
