Field notes Vol. 830 documents Michael Nee's botanical collecting in 1998 in Bolivia on a New York Botanical Garden expedition/Fulbright grant for research and teaching. The item consists of looseleaf printouts with handwritten annotations, in a three-ring binder. It contains a list of specimen numbers 49004-49998, collected April 11-July 10, 1998. The list contains collection location and date, herbarium distribution of specimens, many entries have very detailed descriptions of plant and habitat, and many have herbarium determination. The original field notebooks for these specimens are located in Field notes Vol. 836.
