1987 West Coast Troll Log Program
註釋In 1987, the Troll Log Program involved 86 trollers from the west coast of British Columbia and 25 trollers from the Strait of Georgia to provide Catch Per Unit Effort of troll-caught salmon in different statistical areas. Fishermen were requested to record the details of location fished by map location or two Loran coordinates, number of hours fished as actual time with lines in the water, and number of salmon caught by species. Log sheets were mailed in prepaid envelopes either weekly or at the end of each fishing trip. An effort was made in the selection of boats to spread the fishing coverage along the entire coast of British Columbia to include all statistical areas.
