The Angel Of Lorraine
註釋The year is 1428. The English invasion of France has reached the line of the River Loire at Orleans. Both sides realize that the coming battle will decide the winner of the war between them which has lasted almost a hundred years. An English victory will end the dauphin’s slim chances of retaining his right to the French throne, but if the French are victorious the myth of English invincibility will be broken at last. The English need more men but the French need nothing less than a miracle.
