註釋Lloyd Ray Bowyer was born in Colorado in 1935 to Ralph Willis Bowyer Bowyer (b. 1907 in Kansas) and Susie Blanch Skavdahl born to Oscar J. Skavdahl (b. ca. 1876) and Grace Wickersham a(b. 1882 in South Dakota in Nebraska in 190. William Bowyer and Delila Curry, Ray's earliest identified ancestors, were married in Ohio in 1827. After their deaths in Indiana in 1843 and 1841, respectively, their son John, Ralph's father, moved to Kansas. Susie Skavdahl's grandparents, Johan Johnson Skavdahl (b. 1837) and Marit Olson emigrated from Sor Tonderlag County, Norway and landed in Detroit in 1882. They moved to Dakota Territory in 1883. Their son, Oscar Skavdahl, Susie's father, moved to Nebraska and married Grace Wickersham in 1905.
