Emergency loads in the Krško NPP should always be available irrespective the condition in the power plant itself or in the national 400 kV and 110 kV grids. This Study analyses the probable under voltage conditions in the grids and their impact on emergency loads. The under voltage protection of the 6,3 kV MDl and MD2 terminals is revised. Current settings are checked since they initiate the emergency mode. The main question to be answered is whether the current under voltage protection starts the emergency mode in time and whether its pick up is set well.
