Improving Mouse-based Text Selection Interfaces
註釋Two pilot studies and two user studies were conducted. The pilots were designed to gather information about the problem domain; the others are formal controlled experiments evaluating the newly developed context sensitive speed-dependent friction technique against traditional mouse selection. The evaluations show that while in the best case, context sensitive friction can achieve significantly better selection times than the traditional technique, these results may not generalize to general purpose usage.
