註釋John Peckham was born in 1595 in East Hampnett Manor, Sussex, England. He married Mary Clarke (1607-1648), daughter of Thomas Clarke and Rose Kerrich, in 1638 in Taunton, Massachusetts. They had four children. He married Eleanor Weaver (b. 1623) in about 1648. They had nine children. He died in 1680/81 in Newport, Rhode Island. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
