Victoria and Albert Museum Desk Diary 2004
註釋The discovery in 1497 by Vasco da Gama of a sea route to India established direct relations between Europe and Asia. The images and objects in this year's Victoria & Albert Museum diary show the cross-influence of European and Asian cultures and styles in the period 1500-1800. They include examples of Chinese porcelain, Japanese silks, Indian portraits of Westerners, Persian carpets and English furniture and fabrics. Each week has a full-page colour illustration and the diary also includes national and religious holidays, astronomical information, space for notes and a two-year calendar. It is available in two formats: a spacious desk diary and a handy pocket diary.
