The Effects of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training on the Anxiety Levels of Family Members of Persons with Heart Disease
註釋The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training on the anxiety levels of family members of persons with heart disease. Subjects in the study consisted of a control group and an experimental group. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) was the tool used to measure the anxiety levels of the family members in both groups. The Mann-Whitney test was the methodology utilized for determining the statistical significance of this study. The analysis of the data rejected the hypothesis which stated that there would be a lower anxiety level among the family members who participated in the CPR program as compared to those family members who did not participate.
