Collaborative Response
註釋"Our greatest goal in education is to ensure equity while enhancing learning and ultimately achieving success for all students. And yet, it is impossible for every teacher alone to meet the extensive needs of all of the students in their classroom. The traditional model of schooling cannot provide for this complexity. The solution, the authors argue, is to take a collaborative approach, cultivated in a supportive environment, to meeting students' needs. This book champions the belief that "every child deserves a team" to surround them with supports that recognize their areas of strength and to address their challenges in every aspect of their school life. This book offers a school-wide approach for addressing the individual needs of students. There are three fundamental components of the model: Collaborative structures and processes; Data and evidence ; and Continuum of supports. This framework is cultivated in a collaborative culture that prioritizes the needs of all students. The first two chapters provide the groundwork for this culture shift. The following chapters guide the reader through each part of the model, focusing on building collaborative team structures which ensures active engagement and participation of all team members, gathering and analyzing data and evidence which identifies which students we should be talking about, and creating a unique continuum of supports which articulates what we can do to ensure all students succeed"--
