This is a story in which I use humor and fantasy to address Calvin's battle with constipation. Calvin is a hero to me. Calvin was born with Down Syndrome. Thus, he has endured physical challenges that he has conquered thus far.

Captain Calvin battles King DooDoo in an epic battle to free his body of constipation. The satirical events are very indicative of his courageous battle. Anyone that has dealt with constipation knows the discomfort that comes with it. This is extra difficult for an infant.

When the King DooDoo is defeated, the Constipons are freed and Calvin is relieved.

I wrote this book in the hope that more people raise their awareness of what people with special needs endure from birth through adulthood. Calvin's mother, Anna, has always made his baby food from scratch. She has experimented with different foods. She has used a combination of different food items, along with various oils to create a healthy, nutritious and soothing recipe that allows Captain Calvin to keep King DooDoo at bay.
