註釋
Two days passed, now I started waking up early in the morning, that too without any help. Because I had decided to spend time with Dad. If I get married in coming few months, then maybe my time will be split between Dad and Romi. But today I was shocked, both Dad and Uncle were sleeping till now, it was about seven o'clock. I made tea and knocked on their door. After a while, the door opened, and what was it, Dad came out with a mask. Not only this, but Uncle was also wearing a mask. I quickly asked Dad, 'Why are you using a mask inside the house; you must use it when you are outside.' 'Good morning,' Dad wished without looking at me. I looked at Dad with concern and replied, 'Good morning.' After Dad went to the washroom, I asked Uncle, 'What happened? Are you both okay?' At first, he paused a bit and then said, 'Your dad is not feeling well, and he had a fever at night, cough too.' I got worried, I said in shock, 'But why didn't you wake me up at night.' He went towards the kitchen and said, 'He stopped me and said, it's a viral fever, it will be cured.' I just kept watching Uncle and waiting for Dad to come out. As soon as Dad came out, I asked him about his health. He also confirmed a viral fever and went to his room. I followed him to his room. He turned to me and said, 'I am fine. There is nothing to fear, I have taken medicine, now I feel fine.' 'Okay, let's have breakfast, we will go to the hospital.' I said. 'I think we should not go because I took medicine, will be cured till the evening.' Dad ignored me. 'I know you are fine, but still, we will go; you have to agree on this, Dad,' I insisted. Uncle also started insisting. Then Dad had to agree. It was 10:00 a.m., uncle & I was waiting for dad in the lobby. Dad was in his room. 5 minutes later, he came in the lobby & said to us, 'I know I am fine, but still, I have decided that no one will use my washroom & bedroom until I am not cured. This is my final statement, no more discussion on this.' I was a little tense, but we were going to the hospital, so I was not worried about washroom uses. We went to parking. Dad sat on the backside seat and told Uncle to sit on the front seat next to me. We had travelled for about one kilometre; the policemen indicated stopping the car, it was good that everyone was wearing a mask too. I told them that my father is ill, we are going to the doctor. Shortly after some time, we reached the hospital; we were asked to sanitize hands at the hospital gate only. We were waiting at the reception, in the middle, a nurse checked the weight of the dad, then also checked the fever. The staff were repeatedly sanitizing the entire place. After waiting for half an hour, the doctor called us in, the doctor talked to Dad, and checked blood pressure, etc., then wrote some medicine and said, 'There is nothing to panic, it's a viral fever, but if you will not feel better till tomorrow, then come back here.' I asked Doctor, 'is everything okay? He said, 'absolutely, but if he doesn't feel better by tomorrow, get it checked. By the way, my medicine will work properly. Your dad will be cured soon.' We took medicine and returned to the home. Dad went inside his room. I could understand Dad's condition. At such a time, it was natural for a father to be afraid of deteriorating health. My phone was ringing; it was Romila. 'Hey Romi, what's up' 'Hey Honey, How are you?' her sound was shallow. 'What happened, Romi, is everything all right?' There was a little fear in her voice 'Don't know why I'm scared today. Although everything is fine, are you okay?' I paused a bit, then said 'yes, everything is fine; don't bother, sometimes it happens.' She said in a slow voice, 'Yeah...., everything is fine, call me post-lunch.
