Harry L. Campbell Collection
註釋The Harry L. Campbell collection contains materials that document Campbell's military service during World War I and includes correspondence, a roster, postcards, and annotated news clippings of cartoons. Campbell's correspondence describes the countryside of France; the service agencies which aided the soldiers with food, entertainment, and help; a trip to Paris after the armistice was signed; and the delay for his unit in returning home. Recipients of the mail include Maud (Mrs. I.T. Huff), Daisy ("Dais," Mrs. F.A. Walker), his father, and his sisters. The roster is for Company C, 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Division, and the postcards are of locations in France. The collection also includes Campbell's certificate appointing him to his local Selective Service Board in 1940.
