註釋Clients frequently enter treatment for both a substance abuse and a mental health problem. This book presents a model that integrates theory and research from both of these fields as well as proposing simultaneous integrated treatment in a single setting. Building upon a solid theoretical and research foundation, it discusses the unique problems and treatment methods tailored for specific mental illnesses when combined with substance abuse. Each mental disorder is presented with assessment procedures, prioritized treatment goals, and detailed treatment model. A grid shows the relationships between certain disorders and the processes of change which have been shown or theorized to be particularly helpful in their treatment.
