While strolling along a river, Scholar Wang comes across a beautiful young woman, and takes her home. Time passes and Scholar Wang is very happy with his personal situation. But one day he comes home and is horrified to see a dreadful ghost sitting at his desk. The ghost puts on a piece of painted skin and turns into the beautiful young woman.
