註釋David Perronet of Chateau D'Oex near Lake Geneva came to England in 1681 and married Philothea Arthur. There son was Vincent Perronet who's grandaughter, Philothea Perronet Briggs who married Thomas Thompson. One of their four children was Thomas Perronet Thompson (1783-1869) who became an influential banker and was active in politics in Hull. Thomas P. Thompson was closely associated with the pwerful merchant house of Wilberforce & Smith who were influential in getting Thompson into Parliament. Descendants live throughout Great Britain.
