Emerson's Contemporaries and Kerouac's Crowd
註釋Writers of the Beat Generation were conscious that they shared thematic and philosophical concerns with writers of the American Renaissance. This study provides the first extended examination of interests held in common by these two groups. The writers studies include Emerson, Whitman, Dickinson, Kerouac, Ginsberg, and Baraka.
