This publication includes a collection of papers written by foreign scholars working in the field of Portuguese philology, culture and didactics. The book contains texts by forty scholars from fourteen universities (from twelve countries), in which Portuguese studies are taught as a graduate course discipline. The collected papers focus on the current problems of the Portuguese language, literature and culture.

Publikace zahrnuje soubor studií mezinárodních badatelů v oblasti portugalské filologie, kultury a didaktiky. Do publikace přispěla čtyřicítka autorů ze čtrnácti univerzit (z dvanácti zemí), na nichž se portugalistika vyučuje jako diplomní obor. Shromážděné studie jsou věnovány aktuálním problémům portugalského jazyka, literatury a kultury.
