Self-reported Health and Well-being Outcomes of ASERE Students
註釋This report describes a project to undertake an evaluation based on the health & well-being self-reports of students taking the Advanced Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (ASERE) training course conducted at the Canadian Forces School of Survival & Aeromedical Training. Students provided their expectations & perceptions concerning the course, as well as self-reports of their health & well-being prior to the course, at the end of the course, and six weeks following the course. Topics covered in the evaluation included: whether the students sustained minor injuries (such as bruises, cuts, scrapes, sore muscles) or a major injury (including broken bones, torn ligaments); changes in physical health scores (using a standardized measure) from pre- to post-course; effects of the course on measures of psychological well-being; and expectations & perceptions of the course. A copy of the evaluation questionnaire is appended.
