Abstract: "In the present work we generalise the well-knnown [sic] Rayleigh quotient iteration to the coupled eigenvalue problem [formula], where [formula], to find eigenvalues ([lambda][mu]) and eigenvectors (x, y). We prove that the generalised Rayleigh quotient iteration is locally quadratic convergent and give the error estimate of computed eigenvalues which shows that the residual of computed eigenpairs is of the similar property as in ordinary cases. Numerical results are also reported."
