The Dear Iran Project
註釋Author Rachel Mattson conveys the story of modern Iranian political culture through fictional email correspondences with then-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. In these emails Mattson criticizes Ahmadinejad's approach to foreign policy, particularly his approach to the United States. Also featured are an excerpt from a 1951 Time Magazine article about the health of former prime minister Mohammed Mossadeq, a song by comedian Carol Burnett humorously critiquing John Foster Dulles, secretary of state under U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and an excerpt from American author Stephen Kinzer's All the Shah's Men.
