註釋An investigation of axial jet effects on the base and afterbody pressures on a body of revolution has been made at free stream Mach numbers of 1.5, 1.75, 2.00, 2.50 and 2.87. Variations were made in nozzle and afterbody geometry while chamber pressures were varied from zero to 1000 psia. For the larger nozzles, sufficient jet mass flow was emitted to cause boundary layer separation on the body surface.
