註釋
MoS2 was very effective in reducing friction, was very tenacious, was chemically and thermally stable, and consequently should have many applications. Fe3O4 was beneficial on run surfaces whereas alpha-Fe2O3 was not. With films of type formed extreme pressure lubricant additives FeCl2 was more effective in reducing friction than was FeS.
