When she asks the child where are his parents, he says, "No one is ready for me" and thus begins her association with this little boy, Michael who grows at an alarming speed through childhood. To add to the confusion, Taylor will find that what she thought she knew about her parents was not exactly true and this new knowledge goes a long way in explaining why Michael appeared to her.
