Assesses the long-term water quality trends and flow data for the Quinsam River on eastern Vancouver Island. Recommendations regarding water quality monitoring are also provided. The bulk of the document consists of graphs showing trends (mostly back to 1986) of such parameters as aluminium, calcium, chloride, colour, conductivity, copper, hardness, iron, lead, manganese, nitrate/nitrite, nitrogen, pH, phosphorus, potassium, filterable and non-filterable residue, sodium, dissolved sulphate, air and water temperatures, turbidity, and zinc.
