"The purpose of this report is to show the drawdowns obtained from a two-dimensional model of the Piney Point aquifer in Maryland. The report presents the model of the entire freshwater (less than 250 mg/L chloride) part of the aquifer in Maryland....The goal of this report is to use the model to test the effect various pumping rates and well location schemes will have on future water levels in the aquifer. Drawdown predictions based on the model may aid water-use administrators and planners in their decision making process." -- Page 3.
