註釋Thomas Jefferson Scott, Sr. (1814-1856) was born in Georgia and married Margaret (Peggy) Ray in about 1833. They were the parents of eleven children. In 1850 they lived for a short time in Arkansas before settling in Texas. The children of Thomas and Peggy settled in Texas and Mississippi. Descendants lived in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, California and elsewhere.
