Si sbarca a New York
註釋After the primature death of Sergio Corazzini, poet and leader of the 'Creuscolar poets', the narrator decides to leave for New York. The journey, or better the escape to America (distant and different from the Italy in those first years of the twentieth century), after the death of Sergio, is not only the beginning of adulthood, but also the confirmation of the profound nature of a youthful dream, and of a regret, that never left the author, all through the dramatic events of the First World War, the postwar period, and the fascist regime.
