Accession List, Herbarium, the Biological Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, N.Y.
註釋Field notes Vol. 336 is an accession log from the herbarium at the Cold Spring Harbor Biological Laboratory. The log was started in June 1935. It lists six collections, with a table of contents on page 1 of the notebook. All specimens are from Long Island, New York, in the vicinity of Cold Spring Harbor. Pages 5-63 list the George Harrison Shull Herbarium, donated in 1934 by the Carnegie Institution of Washington, specimen numbers 1-793. Shull collected on Long Island in the early 1900's. Pages 64-73 list moss collections previous to 1935 by Abel Joel Grout, Henry Shoemaker Conard, and Betty Blagg, specimen numbers 794-912. Pages 75-81 list moss and liverwort collections from 1934 by Stanley Adair Cain, specimen numbers 913-1003. Pages 83-97 list general collections from 1934 by Stanley Adair Cain, specimen numbers 1004-1211. Pages 99-141 list the Sociological Herbarium, collected in 1935-1936 by Cain, specimen numbers 1212-1798. Pages 142-300 of the notebook are blank.
